Tournament organizers are and/or work with the game moderators and are aware of the mutes given to tournament players. Players receiving a big mute (couple of days or more) will be likely to receive a punishment in the tournament also.
Teams
- We will gladly help new nations to reach the tournament level, and even mixed teams (players from many nations in a same team because of the amount of players in a single nations) are possible. All the new teams must show their stableness to tournament organizers in separately organized friendly matches before tournaments. Teams can also organize matches of their own.
- Teams are at the same time representing their nation. The success and actions of the team of this tournament will have an effect to further tournaments the nations takes part on, even if the coach and the players would be all different.
Rosters and players
- The tournament roster of 12-20 players must be delivered to the tournament organizers atleast a week before the kick-off of the teams opening match in the tournament.
- One extra player can be added after each qualify round the team has tooked part on.
- Each team has a separate match roster to each of their matches. It contains 10-12 players from the tournament roster, who are the ones that can play in the match. Players outside the match roster can't be used, even if they would be in the tournament roster. Match rosters are informed atleast two hours before the kick-off of the match.
- All of the players must have the nationality and the profile flag of the team they are representing. Profile flag must be shown if the tournament organizers request it.
- Team coach must be chosed to rosters separately, if it's wanted that he is eglible to play.
Match rules
- Pre-match actions (creation of match room, starting of the match etc.) are always done and lead by the tournament organizers.
- Tournament matches are played with duration of 2x10 minutes and 7v7 formation.
- All the matches must always be started and played on 7v7 formation. Matches must be cancelled or delayed if other teams player amount drops under 7 players.
- Home team attack from left side of the pitch towards the right side of the pitch.
- All the match actions must be stopped and the elapsing of the match time must be denied by a request of the tournament organizers. This can be done, for example, in lagging accidents.
- Tournament organizers has the right to remove a player from the room, if he acts against the rules of the game or the tournament.
- Match winners are awarded with 3 points. In a draw, both teams will earn a point.
- In the matches of the 2nd Qualify Round, in the opening match Finland - United Kingdom and in the Tournament Final, a Golden Goal extra time of 2x3 minutes is played if the match ends in a draw. If the extra time is scoreless, a normal penalty shoot-out competition is arranged to decide the winner.
- Teams and spectators should communicate on team chat (blue text) during matches. Public line is for match and tournament announcements.
- If two or all three teams are tied in points after the group stage in the 1st Qualify Round or in the Championship Tournament, the following criteria is used to decide the better team(s):
- Points from all of the matches (not just that group stage) in IC2 tournament played against other teams in tie. If three teams are in tie points and the amount of matches is not the same for all, this option is not used.
- Goal differential
- Goals for
- Normal penalty shoot-out competition. If there are three teams, a group stage is played using shoot-out competitions as matches.
Foul acts and punishing policy
- There are some standard punishments for certain foul acts.
- If a team (one or both of the teams) doesn't have the enough amount of players from their match roster to start the match, a warning is given and the match is re-arranged.
- If a team uses a player from outside their match roster, a warning is given and all of their goals from the match will be taken away.
- If a player is needed to be removed from the match room (see "Match rules"), a warning is given to the players team and the player will receive a ban to the teams next match.
- If a single team receives three warnings inside the tournament, the team will be disqualified.
- The organizers reserve the right to punish players and teams in case of a clear foul act, even it wouldn't be mentioned here.
- After the punishment is given, there's a period of 48 hours to send an official complaint about it to tournament organizers. After this, the case is re-processed and there will be a vote about the decision. The representative of the organizers, one randomly selected coach, one randomly selected tournament player and one randomly selected game user can take part to the vote. The voters can't be from the team that the case is considering, or neither of the players that are part of the case. In a draw, the vote of the tournament organizers is the decisive.
- The deadline is defined from the release time of the official announcement given by the organizers here in the tournament website. Contact us to receive extra info on how to do it.
